This can happen when the Smartphone is left in the sun for long periods and also when it is exposed to high temperatures. If you have ever experienced this problem with your Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, go through the following guide so as to help you fix this problem when it heat ups. The first thing that you should do is to be sure that Galaxy S8 is on and operating optimally.
The overheating problem in the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus is by long pressing the power button and then you tap on the power off button till the display says to reboot to safe mode then you will be able to restart the phone.
This problem can be an origin of the third party applications that you have downloaded from the play store. The safe mode will always appear on the left side of the screen at the bottom. You can always get this information here. Complete guide on how to get the Galaxy S8 in and out of Safe Mode.
You can also factory reset and if the problem is solved, this is basically caused by the third party applications and you have to uninstall them. To factory reset the phone you must clear the cache partition and this can be done in a simple way by reading the guide here and learn how to clear the Galaxy S8 cache This can be done by switching off the phone and get the phone into Recovery Mode.
Ignore the recovery text that comes with the Samsung logo and proceed to the recovery menu where you have to use the volume up button to scroll to the wipe cache partition where you will select it by pressing the power button.Yes mine does near the earpiece.
Could it be the waterproof membrane moving about with the shaking? Nah it's the camera's image stabilization. On my galaxy s7 the rattling sound disappeared when I opened the camera app, but on the s8 that's not the case. The reason probably that it shakes is that the front camera apparently has optical image stabilisation that doesn't work as samsung didn't make activate it or something.
If you watch on YouTube galaxy s8 teardown you can see that there is optical image stabilisation on front camera but unfortunately it isn't activated. Yep as said its the camera. Its kinda has a gyro in it. So when your hand shakes the camera itself stays in place.
Is this a bad thing or not? I just got a response from Samsung twitter and they are saying if the divise is making we should send it for repair. When i try to take a video of a running engine, the noise cancellation almost entirely mutes the engine sound. I specifically want to record the engine sound. Can i turn off noise cancellation? I'm using whatever video program was factory installed. I searched the app, and online, for a setting but can't find one.
I believe the noise cancellation feature is used for all phone operations that utilize the built in microphone for sound input. Somewhere i saw a reference to a second microphone on the phone being used for the noise reduction feature. I'm thinking I'll try covering that microphone to see if i can out-smart the smart phone!
I don't think there's any user way of turning it off So I would suggest that covering-up and blocking the secondary mic that's used for noise cancellation, would effectively disable or at least reduce it's effect. Where the mics are on the phone, maybe in the manual.

Meet the new Samsung smartphone! I have had this really annoying problem with my phone recently. I'm not sure if it's because of the oreo update, but I have only noticed it more recently over the last few weeks.
My earpiece is making a very fast clicking sound, like it's clicking 3x per second. I first noticed it when I was on calls, but now realise it's constant!
You can't really hear it unless you put your ear to the phone, but I'm sure this isn't normal. I can stop it from constantly clicking if I turn the WiFi off, but this isn't practical as we all require WiFi these days! I have seen a couple of random threads online with similar issues but with no replies or reasons as to why its happening.
Hi, thanks for the quick reply. Is this normal? I'm sure I never had the problem before until just recently. I've never heard of hearing a wifi connection before and it just seems odd as it's wireless! I booted it into safe mode, and it still makes the noise. I will take it to a repair centre to get it checked, but is this normal then for it to make the noise from your experience? I would have hoped a patch or something maybe would have fixed it as I don't think it was there before the latest android updateso still have the issue unfortunately!

AndrewL Moderator. Hi Tajedi It may be the case that you can hear the WiFi connection sending and receiving data and this is why the problem is not present when WiFi is disabled. Although it is not ideal we recommend that you disable WiFi, Bluetooth and Mobile Data when on calls to combat this issue, and enable any of these features via the drop down quick settings menu when the call ends for ease of access.
At this stage please try restarting the phone in Safe Mode to see if the problem persists. If the problem persists and you are concerned then we recommend visiting one of our authorised Support Centres where an engineer can inspect your device To find your nearest one please check the following link, select 'Mobile Device' and enter your post code.
I do appreciate the feedback though and quick replies! Stanishef First Poster. Hi, I have same problem with my s8, did you find any solution? Hi, it wasn't like this on the beginning, it caning after Android update. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most talked about phones in recent times due to its impressive infinity displayawesome cameraand new Bluetooth version.
And it gets even better if you can combine them with an equally superior feature-rich app built by Samsung. This setting which is hidden at the lower end of the Sounds and Vibration settings, lets you tweak the equalizer bars so that you end up with a great sound system. But what makes this section truly amazing are various of audio enhancement tools.Catalytic Converter Rattling Noise
So the next time, you connect your headphones, be sure to pick either one of the modes — UHQ Upscaler, Surround, or the Tube Amplifier Pro — to have a clean and rich musical experience. No two humans are alike and the same can be said about their habits as well.
So the default sound settings baked into a phone might suit me, but chances are that they might not suit you. It has three presets which will suit people of different age groups such as the Preset 1 is built for people under 30 or the Preset 3 is for people above It lets you play the sound either through a paired Bluetooth speaker or through the phone itself.
Available only in Android Nougat, this app has an even bigger collection of audio settings. The control media volume is a toggle button which lets you control the media volume directly when you press the volume rockers. This feature will be especially useful for people who keep their Galaxy S8 on silent most of the time.
So at times, you might actually end up lowering the ringtone volume instead of media.

Another nifty feature is Scenarios. These are a set of three scenarios pre-loaded — Home, Work, and Sleep — with different sound modes and time. So, when switched on, they play the sound as per the settings enabled for that particular time. Plus, you can customize the Scenarios or have some added as per your choice and requirement. Worry not, Samsung has provided two options for volume control. So, this was how you can enhance the audio experience in the Samsung Galaxy S8.Our Address.
Kings Mills, OH Engine is very quiet after this initial rattle. Car drives fine etc. We had the engine open the other day and there is no indication of wear or anything. Engine looks super clean. Here is a link. I can definitively say the problem is that the oil used to keep the hydraulic lifters or a timing chain tensioner adjusted is bleeding out when it sits parked for long enough. All the ones I see are at least a few years used, near k on them, and are still noisy even after the startup rattle goes away.
It seems like they all do it. Getting back to the point, I would start by ensuring that a correct oil and filter combination is used. Starting from 0 psi oil pressure in a static engine, it should be no surprise that it might take a moment or two for pressurized oil to get everywhere during a cold start. Perfectly normal. The sound disappears almost instantly.
Its a more common issue than people really want to admit. Some people started using thicker oil, and some people switched to using only European oil, witch is expensive as hell. That is not exactly what i was trying to say, let me re word this……. Home Topic Rattle noise for seconds on cold start. September 19, at am Johann Participant.
